Add a new Slack channel to a PagerDuty service

This is the process for adding an alert output to a Pagerduty service

Pre-requisites

Before you begin, there are a few pre-requisites:

  • PagerDuty access
  • A PagerDuty Service
  • New user name and work email address

Adding a channel

  1. Navigate to the PagerDuty Slack Integration page

  2. Click View on the MOJ Digital & Technology workspace

  3. Click "Link Account" at the top of the page

  4. Click "Add Connection" at the bottom of the page

  5. Select the PagerDuty source as your PagerDuty service

  6. Select Slack channel as your Slack channel

  7. Select the PagerDuty alert settings you want

  8. Click "Add Connection"
